We’ll help you find the right career path.
You’re likely here right now because you’re at a crossroads.
Not sure of where to head next. Afraid to make the wrong choice. And maybe not super confident in how your talents come across through your resume or how you present yourself in interviews.
If any of those concerns describe how you feel, you’ve come to the right place.
Our CareerDirectionTM Program helps you:
- Clarify your purpose, your values, and the goals that matter to you most. When you have clarity around these core things, you gain confidence about the core qualities you bring to work and life in general. And when you have that kind of confidence, you think more creatively about where you can go next in your career.
- Learn about your personality style and work-related preferences. Using the MBTI, one of the world’s most-used work-related assessments, you learn about your preferences in areas relevant to your career. Those preferences are critical for understanding what kinds of roles and settings are the best fit for your style. You avoid the trap of getting into a role that sounds great on the surface, but is not a match for your natural style.
- Identify what careers and settings would be the best fit for someone with your style, values, and goals. Using the Strong Interest Inventory, you have a chance to explore the specific jobs and categories of jobs that tend to appeal to people with your style. We also show you how to explore a dynamic national database of jobs and requirements so you can narrow down the type of roles that would be the best fit for you.
- Prepare you to communicate with maximum impact through your resume. We have decades of experience conducting pre-hire assessments of candidates for major corporations as well as entrepreneurial and professional firms. We use that experience to guide you on what we want to see (and don’t want to see!) in a candidate’s resume. When we provide you with resume feedback, you will see the difference in how much more effectively you communicate the talents and gifts you possess. Your updated resume will portray you in the best light possible.
- Help you refine any “weak points” in your interviewing skills. We have decades of experience interviewing senior executives for major corporations. We put that experience to work for you by sharing with you “inside knowledge” about what attracts a company to a candidate, and what turns them off. We then coach you on how to respond to key questions. We also coach you on how to present aspects of your experience that you may regard as weak points or things you’ve had trouble explaining before. With that prep, you will approach interviews and other conversations about your career with clarity and ease. And as with so many things in life, when you feel relaxed and well prepared, you come across more effectively in interviews.
